A direct, conscious communication with your soul is possible. But it’s not going to happen for you unless you are willing to take a few small steps. In this article I’ll share some techniques that will help you on the path to feeling like you’re talking to your soul.
One of the keys to feeling like you’re talking to your soul, is the willingness to feel emotion. If you’re not willing to feel emotion, then you’re not going to notice that feeling. The purpose of this article is to help you remember to feel emotion and do that effortlessly.
Emotions are feelings we feel in response to what is happening in our bodies. Some emotions are triggered by our thoughts. Emotions that are defined as fears are very limiting. They can make us take focused recover from the situation or even slow down the entire process. They can get in the way of feeling fully and create road blocks in our energy field.
It’s a good idea to acknowledge that all emotion is a resistance to something. The easiest way to release them is to feel them completely. If you have to cry, release it all into the universe. Emotions, love, frustration, annoyance are all energy in motion. Once you feel it fully you’ll know what you’re feeling. It will be a little different feeling than other emotions because it’s your soul talking. Your energy is reflecting your emotion.
The most challenging emotions to feel are the ones you want to push away. If you feel anger, push it to its limit. If you feel hate push it to its limit. There is no hard and fast rule here. The key is to feel whatever you’re feeling while being as balanced and centered as possible.
One of the most common mistakes people make is to mistake feelings for emotions. Emotions are not good or bad. They are just feelings. When people think of emotions, they think of bad feelings and they think of happy feelings.
Buddhist wisdom says that the two greatest obstacles to awakening is ignorance and desire. Ignorance is the main reason why the world is a mess. The ego likes to paint the picture of the world as a difficult place full of mean people, fighting, and so on. But even the Buddha admitted that the world is really pretty nice and looks like a mess. The problem is that the ego creates things to fill the lack felt at the core. This causes suffering.
The other major problem is that most people are trapped in a never-ending cycle of want and stuff. It’s similar to acart and a train stuck in a station. You know how it is, the train is always sitting on the track wanting to get to the destination, but there is always the option to get off and go. Those who are stuck in these patterns suffer.
As you begin to feel the feelings mentioned above, what you need to do is to first make the choice to get off the track, go back to the Welcome Mat and then get back on the track. You simply focus on the option of moving off the track and onto the Welcome Mat. Here are some of the choices:
Yes, I want to move off the track and onto theWelcome Mat.
No, I don’t want to move off the track and onto theWelcome Mat.
Satisfaction guaranteed; as many times as you like.
As you choose a response, if you get a positive emotional feeling, you know the emotional connection is strong enough to declare your intention. Here are some additional examples of emotional feelings and their correspondence with positive choices:
Regardless of what I have in my cart, I’m piecing together the pieces of a puzzle that is my life, and my joy is shining through.
Even though the cart seems to be full of “stuff”, and no matter how many more things I would like to accumulate, my joy is shining through because I realize that I am already so much MORE than my physical Presence and that my spiritual Essence is so much MORE than my physical Self.
imsy sap human flesh and bones… already I am the light and truth that fills the Universe.
My little ego that I call “me” will get in the way of experiencing my purpose.
I cannot deny that I am the way I am, and I can only blame myself for choosing to see things that way.
Taking my focus off “my stuff” and seeing the big picture works.
mesquite from the Latin “m Emmanuel” – “God with us” – Already I AM the magnificent Satria Piningit, always offending the arrogant ignorance of power and pride, always fighting the forces of ignorance that would keep me from realizing my purpose.
Taking my focus off tempting habits and karmic patterns and focusing on the good things that God has already created in me instead, is where my life is now.
