Plot of Breaking Through :
Aside from Bollywood with its dancing drama, Hollywood also shows its pride by having Step Up and Magic Mike, but these two movies are just not enough. Another dance-drama movie, Breaking Through, is coming from the hollywood movie industries that proves the genre strongly attracts young audiences. John Swetnam who acclaimed for his work as the writer for Step Up: All In, has been chosen to direct and write for the screenplay of Breaking Through. Beside the catching story, the movie casts talented actors, such as Sophia Aguiar, Jordan Rodrigues, Robert Roldan, Taeko McCarroll, Marissa Heart, Jay Ellis, Bruna Marquezine, Les Twins, Anitta, and Poreotics.
Breaking Through shows a story about a young talented girl, Casey Wright (Sophia Aguiar). Casey, not only gifted with amazing dancing skills, but is given a chance to start her career as soon as her viral video on YouTube successfully catches many viewers. Casey formerly works in an electronic shop until she is approached by Quinn (Jay Ellis), a man seeks for new talents. Quinn. with no joke, comes and offers her popularity, money, and a new life supports by sponsors that interest in her dancing skills.
Long story short, Casey takes the offer. She gets her own dancing tour, money and many fans that adore her, but these things dissociate her from her personal life, family and friends. Casey starts to have conflicts with her family and friends, until she realizes that she has to get everything straightened out before it’s too late.
