Good news for all who craves for thriller movies! The US-production movie, Nerve, will be fun to watch on holiday. Produced by Allison Shearmur’s production house, the movie is going towards psychological thriller genre. Well, the title has likely given us some hints about the entire plot.
The movie starts with a teenage girl under a virtual name, Vee, cautious about a popular online game among students around her age, the online Truth or Dare. Curious, she decides to sign up and play. The game leads her to dangerous acts. The tasks for Vee to complete, somehow treat her and the people around her. Until she realizes that the game is controlled by an anonymous group called “the watchers”. Could Vee actually fling from the life-threatening tasks without knowing what she actually deals with and what the watchers will do to her life.
The Truth or Dare as a game online challenges whoever feels dauntless to complete dangerous tasks. From jumping off of the hill down the river, taking a selfie while riding a bicycle on the top of a building, asking for a ride and sit on a skateboard. The players on ongoing tasks should record videos of their actions and show it to the audiences via the game apps. In return, players will get paid for each completed tasks. This is where the story begins, Vee signs up for the game, her first task is to kiss a stranger, named Ian, whom she met in a bar. He then asks her to dare taking many tasks, including riding a high speed motorcycle in the center of the city. Once, they enter a clothing store and leave wearing nothing. They lose their wallets, get a tattoo, kissing, even Ian has to lay down on the railway til the train passes it. All the tasks seem to be gratifying in the beginning and perhaps, make them closer. In the end, there is a vast dangerous scene that has to involve the police and hysteria of the people, that threatens both Vee and Ian. Vee has been challenged and forced to shot a bullet through Ian. Will she do it to complete the task?

Nerve has been expecting since 2014. At the time, the two directors who famous for their thrillers, Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, rumored to be working with the writer Jessica Sharzer. They announced to film Nerve, a mystery novel by Jeanne Ryan. In the following year, Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman have cast Emma Roberts and Dave Franco as the main stars for Nerve. Several Hollywood actors also joined on the casts, including Kimiko Glenn and the rapper, Richard “MGK” Baker. Kimiko Glenn will play as Vee’s bff who concerns about her complex situation.
The production of this movie is based on New York, starts from April till June 2015. Nerve will be released in July 2016.
